ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING FOR
NON ELECTRICAL PERSONNEL

This presentation is designed for works engineers, maintenance supervisors
and maintenance personnel who are responsible for electrical systems.
No previous knowledge is presumed

On completion of this course delegates will be able to:

Understand the terms associated with electrical engineering
Appreciate the need and ways of achieving safe working
Use a typical multimeter
Understand star delta configurations of a three phase system
Understand the operation of motors and their safety devices
Apply the concepts required to find basic faults

    Interpret these results. 

    Delegates are encouraged to bring sample diagrams

Living Dangerously
  

   Understand basic safety relating to electrical systems. 

    Distinguish between "live" and "dead" systems.

    Delegates complete practical exercises
