ELECTRICAL FAULT FINDING
THOSE WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This programme is designed for works engineers, maintainance supervisors
and
maintenance personnel who are responsible for fault finding on electrical
systems.
AIMS
To provide an understanding of basic testing and fault finding on electrical
systems
OBJECTIVES
On completion of this course delegates should be able to:
1 Work safely on Electrical systems
2 Correctly distinguish between "LIVE" and "DEAD" systems
3 Understand and use test equipment to measure, voltage, current, &
resistance.
4 Test for continuity and insulation resistance
5 Find typical faults safely in electrical systems
6 Carry out the tests required to diagnose common faults
Note:
Delegates require an electrical knowledge before attending
this course,
which is covered in Electrical Engineering for Non Electrical Personnel.
